I’ve been involved in design for twenty years, mostly in what used to be called ‘new’ media.
My career has given me experience as design director, information architect, user experience/interaction designer, project manager, user interface/visual designer and front end developer. In a former life I’ve even done some branding and packaging design.
I’ve worked for some of the UK’s top brands including major news organisations (BBC News and Sport, Telegraph Media Group, Guardian News Media, News International), non-profit organisations (The Art Fund, MacMillan Cancer Research, Employers Forum on Disability, The Green Thing, Uniaid), agencies (LBi, Rufus Leonard, Sapient, Springett Associates) and even the odd TV personality (Peter Jones).
After an 18 month stints as Director of Product Design and User Experience for Safari Books Online (a subsidiary of O’Reilly Media) I’m currently consulting with Mergermarket Group, offering direction and mentorship to their design team.
